A Grand Open Day!

Hi All to the new 1st Northfleet website

I would just like to say thank you to all that helped and turned up on Saturday 28th April to our Open afternoon.

The two bands we had playing live sounded great playing together and it was good to see the Mayor of Gravesham Cllr Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi taking an interest in Scouting and what we are doing with the young people in the area.

Rusty (one of our Young Leaders) liked the homemade cakes and BBQ (it was food!!) as did everyone else, a massive thank you to Paula who has had requests to make some more cakes with the brown icing and sparkles on top, please!

Overall we raised just over £300 from the the events we had on the day, that money going towards our new roof fund for the hall as we are continuing work on the hall.
